First feature film, with an ironically obscure tone, of the theatre company Back to Back Theatre, SHADOW uses a combination of dramatic and documentary elements to tell the story of a group of activists with intellectual disabilities that organize a public meeting on the future impacts of artificial intelligence. However, this exchange brings to the light that their prejudices are the biggest obstacles that prevent them from saving the world.
The film addresses the theme of individual and collective responsibility and the way in which a shared decision-making in the interest of society can be created.
