After being released from a juvenile detention center, the eighteen-year-old Wellington – soon to be called Baby – finds himself alone and abandoned by his family, forced to wander the streets of São Paulo, without anything to hold onto. He will find affection and protection in Ronaldo, a mature man to whom he is attracted. Sincere affection mingles with contrasting feelings of possession and control. A raw and stratified coming-of-age, an intimate travel between identity and survival.
